PANG TIN (), 34 years, widow, residing on board Fishing

Junk No.2323 H.D., native of PUN U (

), states:-

At about 03.00 hours on the 25th October, 1939, I was

asleep in the cabin on the starboard side of the above junk,

I when I was awakened by the firing of a number of shots.

I heard my did not go up on deck, I remained in the cabin. brother named PANG FUT say that we were being attacked by a Japanese motor boat. I did not see the Japanese motor boat.

The last time we went fishing in Deep Bay was about

2 weeks ago.

We have been fishing on and off in Deep Bay for the past 8 months. We change our fishing grounds according

to the wind.
